The second L410UVP-E20 for Take Air Lines landed in Martinique yesterday. The F-OTKE registered Aircraft Industries aircraft is going to operate on charter flights between Martinique and St. Martin, Antigua, Guadeloupe, Dominica, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Cannouan and Union islands.

Czech Airlines took delivery of new A320-214 (OK-MEI, c/n 3060) shortly after midnight. The first take off on scheduled flight is going to run on OK700 to Madrid on Monday (19.03.).

L-410UVP-E9 registered FP-502 (c/n 012638) returned to Korea Forest Service from Aircraft Industries on 23.02.2007. TCAS was built in and a few little changes made. The first leg with a Czech crew lead to UUDD (Moscow-Domodedovo). The paint scheme was slightly changed and the registration moved to the top of vertical stabiliser.

The newly registered L-410UVP reg. OM-PGA (c/n 820929) is possible to see at Pribram airfield currently. This aircraft is operated by Sky-Diving For Fun SK, s.r.o. and was with Czech Air Force before (registered 0929). The aircraft is mostly flying for the local Sky Service s.r.o. para and tandem centrum during weekends.

A Zlin Z-142 reg. OK-OPM (c/n 0385) operated by Aeroklub Ostrava crashed between Brusperk and Trnavka (Frydek-Mistek district) today. This aircraft departed from Ostrava airport for sightseeing flight. According to eyewitnesses, engine problems occured and aircraft went three time into spin, crashed into ground and burst into flames. The two persons on board died.

A new type to Czech Airlines fleet arrived in Prague today. The A319-112 reg. OK-MEK (c/n 3043) landed from Hamburg shortly after 19:00. The second aircraft of this type (OK-MEL) is expected next month, followed by another 4 planes (OK-NEM/N/O/P) in 2008.

Travel Service is going to lease B737-800 OK-TVQ to Oman Air for as many as 18 months. The aircraft in Oman Air c/s arrived from painting and maintenance today and performed a QS 306/7 PRG-ACE-FUE-PRG flight prior to its departure to Muscat.
